Why Raleigh homeowners call Craver Electric

Most complaints about electricians are not about the wiring. They are about nobody answering, a price that moved, and a truck that never showed. Those are the parts we built the company around.

Price up front

You get the number before the work starts, in writing, with what it includes. It does not change unless the job does.

One name

Curran Craver owns the company and does the work. The person who quotes your job is the person who shows up.

How a job with us goes

You tell us what is going on

Use the quote form and describe the problem or the project in your own words. A photo of the panel or the outlet helps. You hear back the same business day with either a price or the few questions we need answered to give you one.

You get a written price before anything starts

For repairs, that is a diagnostic visit with the fee stated up front and applied to the repair if you go ahead. For panels, chargers, generators and rewiring, it is a written quote that says exactly what is included: the permit, the materials, the utility coordination, the inspection.

The work is permitted where it needs to be

Panel replacements, new 240 volt circuits and generator transfer switches all require an electrical permit and an inspection. We pull the permit with the city, town or county that has jurisdiction, schedule the inspector, and coordinate the meter disconnect with your utility, whether that is Duke Energy, Wake Electric or a town utility like Apex, Wake Forest Power or Clayton Public Power. You should never have to think about any of that.

We leave it labeled, clean and explained

Every breaker gets labeled. Every question gets answered before we leave. You get a copy of the permit and the inspection result for your records, which is what you will want when you sell the house.

Tell us what the house is doing.

A breaker that will not stay on, a charger you want installed, a panel an inspector flagged. Describe it here and we will come back with a price or the questions we need to give you one.
